The Board of Education contains four elected and five appointed individuals; collectively, they are liable for top-level, district-broad choices that have an effect on the route and progress of our colleges. Its members review significant curriculum modifications, new textbook adoptions, and pupil achievement, and acts as liaison with community organizations involved with instructional issues and issues. The board meets month-to-month to find out the academic policies of the elementary and secondary faculties and to establish the rules that carry into impact state law relating to education.
